Artist, professional photographer, race car driver, American businessman, inventor of personal computer products and early pioneer in the personal computer revolution. Grew up in the Daytona Beach area and was exposed to racing at the International Speedway. Learned how to overcome dyslexia after struggling to read, spell and pass written tests at a time when educators commonly incorrectly diagnosis "learning disabilities". At the age of 14 obtained a junked car, rebuilt it and learned to drive. As a teenager, started autocross racing, became an aircraft pilot and developed computer technology. Became a successful entrepreneur involved in computer software, electronics, marine and agricultural industries. Temporarily retired in 1992 at 38 to raise two sons after selling his computer company to Sony, then served as an elected official and participated on governmental, corporate and non-profit boards. When not racing manages investments, photography and gallery, grows oranges and operates Prewitt Enterprises, LLC in Florida and Utah.

Chief talent is to bring home a win with the ability to click off laps by staying out of the pits, not damaging or killing the equipment. Enjoys Endurance rather than Sprint racing. Qualified for a career total races or Sprint (under three hours), 0 Endurance (over three hours) of which were twenty-four hour or longer races held at 0 major North American and International tracks by IMSA, Grand-AM, ADAC, SCCA, HSR, PBOC, PCA, NASA or other organizations.

Won numerous pole positions and podium finishes: firsts, seconds and third places for 0% wins in starts and for 0% podium finishes. Of the twenty-four hour or longer races there were firsts, seconds, third places and top 10 finishes. Notable Finishes: World Record win 2014 Maxi 32 Hr Enduro, 3rd overall in 2011 & 2015 24 hrs of Silverstone, class wins: 1st 2010 & 2015 24 hrs of Dubai, 3rd in class 2012 & 4th in class 2011 & 2015 24 hrs of Nurburgring, 2nd 2009 24 hrs Barcelona, 2007 4 top 10 Grand-Am Rolex GT finishes with a 9th in 24 hrs of Daytona, 4th Grand-Am Koni Daytona Challenge and 2006 NASA National Champion.

In 2008, drove one race; Rolex 24 hrs at Daytona for Matt Connolly Motorsports in a Pontiac GTO.R and finished in 27th GT class position out of the 45 entries. Racing in the 2009 24 Hours Nurburgring in a BMW 120 Turbo Diesel for Marcos Racing International finishing 6th in class and 73rd overall out of 172 cars. Drove in the 25hr VW Fun Cup, a single class endurance event on the Circuit De Spa set in the beautiful Ardennes forest in Belgium. Finished 58th in class of 104 and 86 out of 151 cars. Ran 363 laps in 25 hours 4 mins after losing 45min (15 laps) from a crash of a team driver.

Racing in the 24 Hours of Barcelona and finished 2nd in class on the famous Formula 1 Circuit de Cataluna in a BMW 120D from Marcos Racing International. In 2010, drove a BMW 120D for Marcos Racing International and scored a major comeback victory in the 5th Anniversary 24 Hours of Dubai, winning the D1 (Diesel 1) class. In May, raced a BMW 320D for Marcos Racing International in the 24 Hours Nurburgring. Finished 8th in class and 179th overall out of 197 cars after hour six accident by a team driver while leading the D1T (Diesel 1) class.

Finished the GrandAm season in driver points 27th (29th out of 187) in GT and 71st (84th out of 172) in Koni GS. Races in 10 of 13 Rolex and 1 of 12 Koni season races. Best class finishes in Rolex series was 6th at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve - MONTREAL, Quebec, Canada, 7th at Iowa Speedway - Newton, Iowa and 9th in the Rolex 24 hours of Daytona. Finished 4th in the Koni Cup GS at Daytona.

Drove in the 2006 Rolex 24 hours of Daytona, IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge and in many other racing series. Driver and team manager with a historic 2003 Porsche GT3RS (was 2nd place class winner 2003 24hr LeMans) and 2006 GT3 997 Cup. Holds numerous lap records in SCCA, PBOC and NASA classes. 2006 NASA National Champion and overall Winner in the PBOC 2005 & 2006 Race Series. Raced Roebling Roads Raceway, Carolina Motorsports Park, Poncono Raceway, VIRginia International Raceway, Sebring Raceway, Brainerd Raceway, Road America, Homestead-Miami, Moroso, Watkins Glen, Road Atlanta, Barber Motorsports Park, Daytona International Speedway, Miller Motorsports Park, Laguna Seca, Mosport International Raceway and Mid-Ohio.

Competed in SCCA's 12 Hours of Homestead in 2003. Drove Porsche and BMW cars in many club events held at Sebring, Moroso and Homestead race tracks. Graduated from the Skip Barber Racing School at Sebring in 2002 and Daytona 2003.

Drove a Porsche DP 935 (turbo 930) at Driver's Ed and open track events at Sebring, Moroso and Homestead race tracks.
